On September 30, 2026, Bordeaux became the epicenter of action for the French HYROX community, and beyond. With an incredible total of 11,105 participants converging at Cr Jules Ladoumegue for a single day of competition, the atmosphere was electric, the crowd on fire, and the air buzzing with excitement. It was a true display of strength, endurance, and determination, where every athlete, whether novice or seasoned veteran, pushed their limits through the 8 runs and 8 signature HYROX workouts.

Whether you stepped onto the Bordeaux floor for the first time or are a regular on the HYROX battlefields, this edition will remain etched in memory. Open Men: A Fierce French Battle for the Podium

The Open Men category was the scene of a fierce struggle, where perseverance and strategy made all the difference. France dominated this top 10 with exceptional performances and a shower of personal bests. The 1-hour barrier fell for many, signaling a promising season.

What intensity! The podium was 100% French and decided by mere seconds. Charles Crepeau took the top spot with a blistering time of 00:55:28. He smashed his personal best by over 2 minutes compared to his previous mark of 00:57:51 set in Lyon. Right behind him, Quentin Reynes delivered an incredible performance, crossing the finish line in 00:55:33, also improving his PB by almost a minute from Toulouse. The battle was epic, separated by just 5 seconds! Thomas Mouflard completed the podium with an impressive 00:57:14, also setting a new personal best after his participation in the World Championships in Stockholm. We witnessed a true wave of personal records in this top 10: Loïc Cebelieu (00:57:58), Cédric Orengo (00:58:18), Damien Arlot (00:58:20), Thomas Debladis (00:58:27), Clément Dutrey (00:58:51), Nicolas Lecourt (00:58:58), and Adrien Kurnik (00:59:07), all shone and beat their best marks. An undeniable French dominance and a demonstration of the athletes' excellent level of preparation.

Open Women: Power from Afar and New Revelations

The Open Women category offered an equally captivating spectacle, with a masterful performance and the emergence of many new talents. The level was incredibly high, and personal bests were shattered.

She didn't just beat her personal best, she obliterated it, improving her previous mark of 01:20:17 in Nice by over 25 minutes. A performance that places her not only at the top of Open Women but also potentially among the fastest athletes of the event, across all categories!

Behind this force of nature, new faces shone: Belgium's Hanne Monteyne, in her first HYROX race, took second place in 01:04:09, an impressive debut. French athlete Margaux Bozec completed this podium with 01:05:56, also in her first participation. Julia Groven (01:06:40), Sarah Szabo (01:07:51), Helena Herman (01:08:40), and Anne Lise Jacquin (01:09:04) were also rookies who made a sensational entry into the world of HYROX. As for Catherine Nourry Cabrol (01:07:43) and Esther Josephovitch (01:08:50), they both significantly improved their personal bests, a sign of successful winter preparation. A very strong demonstration of power and renewal!

Pro Men: The Cream of the Crop on Bordeaux Soil

The Pro Men category brought together elite athletes, and the public was treated to a confrontation worthy of the biggest competitions. The margins were minimal, with every second counting double.

Right behind him, Austrian Alexander Roncevic, also an 11-race veteran, finished in 00:54:12. Only 11 seconds separated them, illustrating the density of the Pro level. Jake Dearden, also British, climbed to the third step of the podium with 00:54:20, setting a new personal best, improving his Tenerife time. George Martindale (00:55:48) confirmed his place among the elite with his 11th race. French athlete Thomas Dubost closed out this top 5 with an excellent 00:56:41, achieving a new PB and showing that France is very much present at the highest level.

Pro Women: Finesse and Power in the Spotlight

The Pro Women athletes delivered a high-flying battle, proving that technique and resilience are major assets in HYROX. The performances were worthy of the biggest arenas.

Australian Calypso Sheridan, a veteran with 11 races to her name, took second place in 00:59:20. German Lea Sophie Pommerening, with 7 races, climbed to the third step of the podium in 01:01:17. British athlete Amy Walsh (01:02:00) achieved a new PB, while our French athlete Ilona Frigout, with her 6 races, completed this top 5 in 01:02:03, just 3 seconds shy of Amy Walsh's PB.

Doubles: Team Power Delivers

The Doubles categories are always synonymous with camaraderie, strategy, and shared performances. Bordeaux was no exception, with incredible duos giving it their all.

Tom Prioux Axel Bertrel took second place in 00:53:18, also in their debut. Killian Remond Mathias Tacinelli Rabineau (00:53:32) and Jean-Baptiste Andribet Eliott Goi (00:53:51), both newcomers, showed incredible potential. Finally, Max Massat Gaetan Tinard completed this top 5 with a new personal best of 00:53:57, improving their Toulouse time by over four minutes. What commitment!

In Doubles Women, the duo Ines Cornet Pauline Le Cagnec Panek made a strong impression in their first race, securing victory in 01:01:41. Fanny Collet Sophie Pattyn claimed second place with a time of 01:04:52, a new personal best for them! Third place went to Charlotte Barbey Elisa Barbey (01:05:51), another rookie team. We noted the extremely close performance between Sabine Darlet Marie Morgen and Alexia Topin Nina Carneiro, who finished tied at 01:05:52 for their first participations, proving the intensity of the competition.

The duo Ciaran Parkinson Jade Skillen, veterans of 4 HYROX races, took second place in 00:53:33, demonstrating their consistency at the highest level. Lucie Rose Thomas Delattre impressed in their first participation with 00:54:37. The pair Mévéna Pingliez Quentin Pingliez set a new personal best in 00:54:51, improving their Paris time. Finally, Corane Gazeau Florent Palacio also achieved a new PB in 00:55:31. The competition was fierce all the way to the finish line!

The formidable duo Jake Dearden Charlie Botterill (whom we already saw shine in Pro Men) absolutely crushed it with an incredible time of 00:48:49, setting a new personal best compared to Cardiff. A monumental performance! Alex Valentin Théo Kis followed in 00:50:06, just after a strong performance in Rome. Brothers Harry Sutherland Ben Sutherland, veterans of 7 races, finished in 00:50:54. Olivier Jouve Dimitry Martins (00:51:09) and Oli Fricker David Aryeetey (00:51:34) completed this high-caliber top 5.

Kat Parnell Jade Skillen (00:56:52), strong from their 5 races, and Chloe Cook Sophia Parvizi Wayne (00:57:48), impressive beginners, completed this ranking.
