With no less than 12,914 participants from all corners of the globe competing on the circuit, the atmosphere was simply electric. The Open Men category delivered a high-octane spectacle in Cardiff, but it was a single time that will forever be etched in history: that of a newcomer who simply shattered all expectations! The competition was fierce, with many athletes finding their second wind to achieve personal bests.

Behind this astonishing debut, an intense battle unfolded for the podium spots. Veteran Lee Tynan, with 11 HYROX races under his belt, secured second place with a solid 00:56:21. A regular at London Olympia and Glasgow, Lee once again demonstrated his consistency and ability to perform under pressure.
The third step on the podium went to Mark Sullivan, who clocked 00:57:11, improving his personal best from Glasgow (01:01:12) by over four minutes. Sixth place went to Callum Rowlands, who improved his Manchester PB with 00:57:44. Finally, the remaining spots in the Top 10 were claimed by Jakub Riedel (PB with 00:57:55, improving his Malaga time), Owen Drew (PB of 00:58:01), Stefan Edwards (PB at 00:58:06), and the determined Scottish runner Luke Dickson (PB with 00:58:07).
