HYROX Cologne 2026 gathered 7870 athletes at Messe Köln from April 16-19. With personal bests shattered and impressive rookie debuts, this edition once again showcased the intensity of fitness racing. HYROX Cologne 2026: The Results Are In!

From April 16th to 19th, 2026, Messe Köln was transformed into a bustling sports arena, pulsing with the energy of HYROX Cologne. With no less than 7870 participants from all over the world coming to challenge themselves across the eight Workouts and 8 km of running, this edition once again proved the growing popularity of functional fitness racing. The atmosphere was electric, the competition fierce, and the performances... simply astounding! Get ready to dive into the results of this memorable day where personal bests and first victories converged.

Open Men — Top 10

The Open Men category was the scene of an intense battle, with athletes pushing their limits and showcasing exemplary preparation. The standard was incredibly high, reflecting everyone's relentless dedication.

It was Tobias Schmitt 🇩🇪 who shone brightest, taking the lead with an impressive time of 00:56:07. Not only did he secure the win, but he also shattered his personal best by over 6 minutes compared to his time in Frankfurt (01:02:37)! A masterful performance, reflecting intense preparation.

Right behind him, Moroccan Jaafar Moumen 🇲🇦 showed unwavering determination, claiming second place in 00:57:50. He improved his PB by nearly a minute from Katowice, proving his rising strength.

The podium was completed by American David Magida 🇺🇸 with 00:58:15. He too set a new personal record, beating his London Excel time by 35 seconds. His consistency is admirable, with notable performances at the Nice World Championships.

Just 2 short seconds off the podium, Marcus Funken 🇩🇪, a respected veteran with 11 HYROX races under his belt, demonstrated he remains a formidable competitor. His experience in London, Las Vegas, and Berlin is well-proven.

One of the biggest surprises came from Tim Neuhaus 🇩🇪. In his very first HYROX participation, he made a strong statement with an incredible 00:58:23, climbing directly into the top 5! This performance bodes well for a promising career. Another rookie, Jay Muscart 🇨🇦, also made a remarkable debut in 6th place with an impressive PB of 00:58:36, improving his Chicago time by almost 9 minutes!

Germans Nicolas Heling 🇩🇪, John Geiger 🇩🇪, and Malik Alfousseni 🇩🇪 all set new personal records, showcasing the depth of local talent. Felix Bierwirth 🇨🇭, another veteran, rounded out this fiercely contested top 10.

Open Women — Top 10

The women in the Open category also delivered a high-octane spectacle, with exhilarating races and epic finishes. Determination was palpable at every station!

At the top of this category, Judith Schwarz 🇩🇪 dominated the race with an impressive time of 01:04:40. She secured a brilliant victory and a new personal record, improving her Frankfurt time by almost 3 minutes! A rapid ascent.

Second place went to Jaqueline Dana Raineri 🇩🇪, an experienced veteran of 7 HYROX races, who completed her course in 01:06:20. Her consistency and knowledge of the circuit paid off.

The podium was completed by Jennifer Jerger 🇩🇪 in 01:07:16, who shaved off a few seconds from her Frankfurt personal best, a sign of continuous improvement. Just a few seconds behind, Chayline Simon 🇩🇪 placed 4th, also with a new PB (01:07:51).

A special mention goes to Melanie Standt 🇩🇪 who, in her first HYROX race, jumped straight into 5th place with a time of 01:08:03. What an explosive debut!

Further down the rankings, athletes like Nelli Haufe 🇩🇪 and Jana Knitterscheidt 🇩🇪 (a veteran of 4 races) demonstrated their perseverance, with the latter putting in a solid time despite a previously recorded PB in Frankfurt. Rookies Luisa Timmermann 🇩🇪 and Anna-Lena Best-Pohl 🇩🇪 confirmed the emerging talent, while Lorena Eloy 🇩🇪, a veteran of 8 races, proved her longevity in the top 10.

Pro Men — Top 5

The Pro Men category is always a unique spectacle, where HYROX's elite engage in a relentless battle. Cologne was no exception, with breathtaking performances.

German Paul Weindl 🇩🇪 secured a brilliant victory in 00:55:55. A regular on podiums with 11 races under his belt, he demonstrated Olympic form and impressive tactical mastery, backed by his recent performances in Katowice and Vienna.

Behind him, Mj Sutton 🇮🇪, an Irish veteran, snatched second place in 01:01:13. Despite a faster reference time in Dublin (00:57:31), his performance remained solid and strategic.

The battle for third place was epic, with a perfect tie! Christian Haas 🇩🇪 and Swede Hugo Hugemark 🇸🇪 crossed the finish line in 01:01:39. For Haas, it's a testament to consistency, while Hugemark, after an excellent 00:58:39 in Bologna, managed his race brilliantly to share the podium.

Finally, David Bergmann 🇩🇪, with a new personal record of 01:02:03, claimed a strong 5th place, improving his Frankfurt time by almost 2 minutes. A consistent progression for this athlete.

Pro Women — Top 5

The Pro Women once again proved their mental and physical strength. Every meter of the race was a demonstration of power and perseverance.

Svenja Sommer 🇩🇪 climbed to the top step of the podium with a time of 01:03:49. A veteran of 7 races and accustomed to high-level performances (with an impressive 00:59:45 in London), she managed her race with characteristic experience and strength.

French athlete Apolline Cardon 🇫🇷 took second place in 01:04:21. After her excellent 01:01:09 in Gent, she confirmed her place among the European elite, even if Cologne wasn't her PB.

Tanja Schuck 🇩🇪 completed this formidable podium in 01:04:49. With 5 races under her belt, she demonstrated strong consistency, close to her best times.

Caroline Lieb 🇩🇪, another seasoned veteran (11 races!), took 4th place in 01:05:38. Her longevity and perseverance are remarkable, with consistent performances across Europe.

Finally, Luisa Maria Waerdt 🇩🇪, also a regular on the circuit with 11 HYROX races, rounded out the top 5 in 01:06:25. Her performance in Cologne is part of a season where she maintains a high level.

Doubles — The Power of Teamwork

The Doubles categories once again proved that unity is strength. Strategy, cohesion, and mutual support are the keys to these races where effort is shared, but determination is amplified.

Doubles Men — Top 5

The Doubles Men competition was particularly intense, with duos pushing the limits of synchronization.

The duo Christian Nolde and Jaafar Moumen simply crushed the competition in 00:53:39. For their first HYROX race together, they delivered an epic performance! Behind them, Anil Yesil and Lukas Zajons improved their personal best from Mechelen with a solid time of 00:54:25. The other top 5 duos, Daniel Leibinger / Julian Kemmler, Tiago Nunes / Pedro Marques, and René Dau / Konstantin Jünger, all in their first participation, proved that new talents are emerging strongly in this division.

Doubles Women — Top 5

The female duos demonstrated incredible endurance and impressive collective strength.

They were followed by the duo Louisa Schmidt / Michelle Czaja in 01:03:14. All top 5 duos are rookies in this division, promising a new generation of formidable competitors.

Doubles Mixed — Top 5

Balance and complementarity were key in the Mixed Doubles category, leading to exciting races.

Special mention to the duo Nicole and Nico Krackl, who in 4th place (00:58:00), improved their personal best from Mechelen by over a minute!

Pro Doubles Men — Top 5

The cream of the crop of male duos shattered records, demonstrating perfect synergy and raw power.

The duo Michael Bartsch and Lukas Zajons achieved a feat by winning in 00:52:30 in their first Pro Doubles race. A smashing debut! They were closely followed by Jan-Niklas Friedrich and Stefan Höcht, who improved their personal best from Stuttgart by over 2 minutes with a time of 00:52:44. The veteran duo Florian Gast and Peter Schiller (4 HYROX races) took third place in 00:53:18, proving their consistency at the highest level. Newcomers Ralf Gärtner / Christopher Von Stelzer and Nicky Van Osselaer / Yannick De Vliegere completed this top 5, once again highlighting the wealth of new talent.

Pro Doubles Women — Top 5

The Pro Doubles Women delivered an exceptional display of coordination and strength, with teams pushing their limits.

The duo Diana Breiding and Elina Sujew absolutely soared through the race in 00:58:24, setting a dazzling new personal record, almost 2 minutes faster than their time at the Nice World Championships! A world-class performance.

They were followed by Lea Stratmann and Katharina Wetzel in 01:00:27, then Verona Jaron and Lea Sophie Pommerening in 01:00:33, and Nadja Kimmel and Maja Storn in 01:00:35. These three duos impressed with their first participations, placing just behind the champions with very close times, only a few seconds off the podium. Lena Schulze and Rebecca Frank completed this high-flying female top 5.
