On September 25, 2026, the city of Oslo became the vibrant heart of the HYROX community. The NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm hosted a competition of rare magnitude, bringing together no less than 5955 athletes on a single day. A determined human tide, coming to push their limits, challenge the clock, and etch their names into the HYROX annals. The air was electric, charged with the anticipation of first-timers and the focus of veterans, all ready to tackle the 8 kilometers of running interspersed with 8 functional workouts. Open Men, Top 10

The Open Men category delivered a breathtaking spectacle, with an exceptional level of performance that saw most of the top 10 break the symbolic one-hour barrier. The competition was fierce, every second counted, and the intensity was palpable with every Burpee Broad Jump and Farmer's Carry.

He was closely followed by his compatriot Eddie Braithwaite 🇬🇧, who set a new PB of 00:58:03, proving that Manchester athletes are always ones to watch. Other notable performances include Brandon Mcguinness 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, a veteran of 11 races, showing consistent performance in 5th place, while Tom Adams 🇬🇧, Andrew Bourne 🇬🇧, Johnathan Pewtner 🇬🇧 and Zander Leslie 🇬🇧 all recorded new personal bests, solidifying a top 10 dominated by continuous improvement and peak performance.

Open Women, Top 10

The Open Women's category also delivered an intense battle, with twists and turns and breathtaking personal bests. The energy and determination were palpable on every meter of running and at every functional station.

A spectacular transformation that propelled her directly to the top of the podium. Norway did not disappoint with Linnea Våge Skårdal 🇳🇴, who, in front of her home crowd, set a new PB of 00:59:36, brilliantly securing second place. Ellie Carmody 🇮🇪 completed the podium with an excellent 01:02:15, also a new personal best compared to Dublin. Fourth place went to another local athlete, Karianne Sotberg 🇳🇴, who beat her PB by just a few seconds. We also note the impressive series of first HYROX participations for Norwegian athletes: Lisa Maria Thomassen 🇳🇴, Nicoline Aadland 🇳🇴, Helene Semb 🇳🇴, and Maria Othelia Rundereim Pedersen 🇳🇴, who all distinguished themselves in this top 10, demonstrating a strong emergence of local talent.

Pro Men, Top 5

When the elite enters the arena, every movement is calculated, every stride optimized. The Pro Men category in Oslo was a display of strength, technique, and endurance at the highest level. The best athletes clashed in a relentless race.

Just 6 seconds behind him, Ronan Lindsay 🇮🇪 achieved a new personal best of 00:55:45, surpassing his previous time from Maastricht. Czech athlete Tomas Tvrdik 🇨🇿, another veteran, and Norwegian Erik Oscar Bøe 🇳🇴, a local crowd favorite, completed this top 5 with very respectable times of 00:56:03 and 00:56:20. It was a true display of HYROX excellence.

Pro Women, Top 5

The Pro Women category was the scene of a strategic race, where power and technique combined with iron endurance. These athletes proved that female performance in HYROX is at its peak.
