The energy was palpable at No. 1099 Guozhan Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, on May 16th and 17th, 2026. With no less than 5372 participants from around the world, HYROX Shanghai 2026 promised to be a colossal event, and it delivered on all fronts! A wave of unleashed athletes surged across the tracks and stations, transforming each run into a spectacle of power and resilience. Between shattered personal bests, memorable first participations, and fierce duels, this edition will go down in history, especially with a time that electrified the crowd and set a new global benchmark.

Open Men: Top 10

The Open Men's category delivered a fierce battle, showcasing extraordinary individual performances. The competition level was incredibly high, with several athletes breaking the mythical one-hour barrier. One man, however, truly stood out, creating a massive surprise with a rare feat for a debut participation.

1. 越 吴 : 00:39:55 🇨🇳
   For his first HYROX race, 越 吴 simply electrified the competition with a time worthy of the best professionals. This performance is a true bombshell and a sensational entry into the world of HYROX!
2. 成龙 于 : 00:59:44 🇨🇳
   A regular on the podiums, 成龙 于 confirmed his consistency by narrowly missing his personal best set in Beijing (00:59:32). His race experience is a definite asset.
3. LIAM CLYDESDALE : 01:02:46 🇳🇿
   A first HYROX race and already a podium finish for LIAM CLYDESDALE! The New Zealander demonstrated immense potential and will be an athlete to watch.
4. 瑟 王 : 01:02:58 🇨🇳
   With a blazing time of 01:02:58, 瑟 王 shattered his personal best by over a minute compared to Hong Kong (01:04:05). An impressive progression!

The Open Women athletes were equally impressive! The competition was intense, with many personal bests testifying to the consistently rising level. Determination was at its peak.

   With unwavering determination, 雨桐 王 achieved a stunning new personal best, improving her previous Beijing time (01:04:21) by over two minutes. A dominant performance!
2. 敏婕 张 : 01:05:45 🇨🇳
   What an opening! For her first HYROX race, 敏婕 张 took second place with a very promising time.
3. Olga Baranova : 01:07:06 🇷🇺
   Another successful first participation. Olga Baranova claimed the third step of the podium, showing she belongs among the elite.

   A giant leap! 漪隽 张 set a massive new PB, improving her Shanghai time by over 27 minutes. Absolutely incredible!

6. 诗玥 徐 : 01:08:11 🇨🇳
   A notable progression for 诗玥 徐 who, thanks to her new PB, shaved off over four minutes from her Wuhan time.
7. 运霞 唐 : 01:09:34 🇨🇳
   Consistency and progression for 运霞 唐, who recorded an impressive new PB, with significant improvement over Shenzhen.
8. 亚茹 王 : 01:09:37 🇨🇳
   Veteran 亚茹 王 (5 HYROX races) once again proved her resilience and consistency by staying in the top 10.
9. 奕 杜 : 01:09:54 🇨🇳
   A spectacular new personal best for 奕 杜, who improved her Shanghai time by over 10 minutes. Fantastic!
10. Katie Ip : 01:10:18 🇭🇰
    Hailing from Hong Kong, Katie Ip achieved an excellent new PB, more than 6 minutes faster than her previous best in Hong Kong.

Pro Men: Top 5

The elite Pro Men category delivered some truly epic moments. While all eyes were on the top contenders, one athlete completely obliterated the clock, leaving his competitors speechless.

1. Nabil Berrouigat : 00:30:03 🇫🇷
   What did we just witness?! Nabil Berrouigat delivered a performance that defies understanding. With a time of 00:30:03, he not only set a sensational new personal best but potentially clocked one of the fastest HYROX PRO races in history, smashing his previous Istanbul PB (01:03:09) by over 33 minutes! A truly historic achievement.
2. Gabe Heck : 00:56:11 🇺🇸
   Veteran Gabe Heck (11 HYROX races) once again proved his machine-like status by finishing under the hour. Always a consistent performer on the circuit.
3. Tanguy Cruz : 00:58:27 🇫🇷
   Frenchman Tanguy Cruz, also a veteran with 11 races, demonstrated incredible consistency by crossing the finish line in under an hour.
4. Dene Flude : 00:59:35 🇳🇿
   An absolutely remarkable first HYROX race in Pro for Dene Flude, going straight under the hour. A name to remember!
5. Mohamed Redaoui : 00:59:56 🇲🇦
   Moroccan Mohamed Redaoui, a seasoned veteran, held on to a top 5 spot and posted a strong time, just seconds off his previous PB.

Pro Women: Top 5

The Pro Women also delivered a high-flying spectacle, with athletes pushing their limits and demonstrating exceptional strength and endurance. The competition was fierce for every podium spot.

   芳 朱 secured first place with a significant new personal best, improving her Wuhan time (01:04:36) and showcasing perfect race mastery.
